Meet Spikey Cost

Hi! I'm Spikey. I am a super sweet gal ready to find your lap to curl in. I was surrendered here due to my previous owner not longer able to care for me. I have lived with other cats in the past and did well. There is no history of me living with dogs or kids. You will quickly see that I love attention. I will melt right into your affection and would make the best cuddle buddy.

Medical Notes: This pet's dermatitis is improving but not yet resolved. The pet you are adopting was found to have a grade 3-4/6 heart murmur. Heart murmurs arise from turbulent blood flow in the heart and can have a multitude of causes. Murmurs can be caused by structural abnormalities within the heart, systemic or metabolic conditions. Depending on the underlying reason it may not require treatment or cause a problem in the near future. Please see your veterinarian within 1 week of adopting your pet concerning these conditions. Please continue all medications as prescribed until that time. The pet you are adopting was found to have an ear infection. Signs associated with this disease include red, inflamed ears with discharge, head-shaking, and itching. We have begun treatment for the infection with a long lasting ear antibiotic pack. This medication will be slowly absorbed over the next 10-14 days. Please do not clean or remove any of the medication from the ears during this time. Follow-up with your veterinarian in 10-14 days is recommended to be sure the entire antibiotic pack has been absorbed and the infection has resolved. This pet was also found to have small masses in each inguinal area. These are suspected to be lymph nodes and are likely enlarged given her dermatitis. If these masses do not fully resolve when her skin is back to normal, please follow up with your veterinarian. The pet you are adopting was found to have mild bilateral lower eyelid entropion. This does not seem to be negatively affecting her at this time. Entropion is an eye condition in which the eyelid edges roll inward, causing the hair on the eyelids to touch the eyeballs. This can cause irritation, inflammation, and can cause corneal ulcers. Entropion is usually caused by genetics or trauma. No treatment is required at this time but please follow up with your veterinarian with any questions or concerns.
