Meet Snookie

FORT KENT, Maine - PAWS Animal Welfare Shelter presents Snookie as PAWS Pet of the Week in hopes that this cute cat will find her forever home.
Meet Snookie. She is a young, beautiful brown tiger from Madawaska. Found as a stray, Snookie is very sweet, loves people and gets along with other cats as well. She will make a good playmate for other cats in her home as well as a good companion to her owners.
Snookie is spayed, brought up-to-date on her vaccinations and cleared of any parasites. If you are interested in seeing her, please visit Valley Cat Haven during open hours on Sat. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. or call Jean at 207-543-7348 for an appointment.
PAWS is a nonprofit organization that rescues abandoned cats in the St. John Valley. Organization members believe most pets can be socialized and prefer not to release them back outdoors, as winters are harsh in Northern Maine. PAWS operates as a no-kill shelter. Their mission is to get owners to spay and/or neuter their animals to help cut down on the population and give all animals a better chance at a quality life.
PAWS Animal Welfare, Inc. spays, neuters and vaccinates mature animals before they are placed out for adoption.
To find out more about adopting a cat from PAWS or how you can help the paws cause, visit www.ourvalleypaws.org or call 543-7348.
