Meet Smokey
Meet SMOKEY. He is a 5 year old, GRAY and WHITE male who was surrendered to a local shelter when his owner became allergic and could no longer keep him. Smokey has been described as SWEET and LOVING. The home in which he lived had children that were rough with him causing him a great deal of angst. Because of the treatment from the children, Smokey did some over-grooming (licking his fur) from the stress. We strongly recommend a CALM and LOVING HOME where Smokey can feel SAFE and LOVED. He may need a bit of time to decompress but with a patient adopter he will overcome his shyness in no time. Smokey can be visited in Westchester, NY. He is neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.
