Meet Slick
I was adopted in April 2010 and I was turned in to SCRAPS as a stray on 9/13/19. Since P4P always takes their cats back, I was transferred back into their care. I have gone to the vet and had an exam, senior blood panel, and vaccines done. In November I had a dental and couple of teeth pulled. In 2020 I was diagnosed with IBD, Irritable Bowel Disease. I am on a prescription diet, both dry and wet food, and also receive a B-12 shot once a month.
I am a friendly fellow who likes to be petted and loved, at the same time I can be timid and shy when we first meet. When I was in a foster home before and after my dental it was discovered I had a wonderful purr and liked to talk. Since my diagnosis of IBD and eating the special diet, I look and feel so much better.
I am okay with other cats as long as they are not dominant and give me my space. I would also do well as an only cat. It is unknown if I have been around dogs or children. I would do best in a calm, quiet home. Children over 10 please.
My adoption fee is $75. I have been neutered, micro chipped, tested negative for FELV/FIV, and vaccinated for feline distemper and rabies.
You can see me at our Adoption Center at 8901 E Trent, Ste 101 (corner of Argonne and Trent, next to Albertson's) or call 893-9829 for more information.
