Hi! My name is Shimmer! I am looking for my furever family! I am about 12 weeks old and just as cute as can be! I was Born on December 13th, coincidently I share a birthday with Taylor Swift, which makes me even more exciting! Everyone is a sucker for a love at first sight story where we promise to love eachother "forever and always!" That being said,  I'd love to tell you more about myself, "Are you ready for it...?"

I am fully litter box trained and am eating hard food all on my own! I love people and I promise to be your best friend, we can even "dress up like hipsters and make fun of your ex's!" I will always be "the one who understands you." I'm highly adaptable, and would be happy with any schedule - we can "step into the daylight" or even have "breakfast at midnight!" The cool thing about kittens is that we can become exactly the type of kitty you want, as long as you're willing to "be our guiding light."

I also love to climb the cat trees and watch the world go by from the windowsill. During the day, I'm "too busy dancing to get knocked off my feet,"but in the evening I'd LOVE to cuddle up "purring in your lap, cause I love you!" I am great at using the scratching posts; my foster mom said I can't scratch on the furniture or else "we can't have nice things." Kittens do best adopted in pairs, or with other animals at home! This is because solo kittens can become easily bored, and you'll be thinking "I knew you were trouble when you walked in." Having the guidance of other animals aids in proper socialization, as kittens have a tendency to "mirrorball" their older feline friends! Because of solo kitten syndrome, I'd like to go to a home with one of my siblings or to a home with other playful pets, or else I may become a "nightmare dressed like a daydream."

I am a social butterfly, and "I promise you'll never find another like me!" I have been fostered with other cats and love playing with them, even though one of my foster siblings can be grumpy - I just want to know "why he's gotta be so mean?" Luckily my other foster cat brother is playful and is happy to show me all "the tricks up his sleeve!" I have also been raised with dogs of all shapes and sizes! Sometimes the big dogs trample me, but I'm always happy to "shake it off!" Everyone who meets me falls in love and they all say they saw "sparks fly" between us. I guess you could even say my "magnetic field is a little too strong!"

I even do well "Ridin' shotgun with my hair undone in the front seat of the car!" Like seriously for a kitten my age I travel really well in the car inside my carrier with minimal protest even in that "stupid old pickup truck you never let me drive!" I promise when you meet me, I definitely won't be "just another picture to burn!" I want to be your best friend forever, and I promise to give you unconditional love even if you aren't a swiftie like me (as long as we only listen to Taylor's Version!)
