Did You Adopt Roy?

Meet Roy

Roy has had quite a journey in his life. He was turned over to us as a stray, but given his nice disposition he likely had a home for part of his life. We don't know why he lost his home and was left to make his way on the streets.
After Roy arrived at the shelter he became quite unwell and required medical care for months to get his issues resolved. He has now recovered to nearly 100%, with some slight cloudiness still evident in his affected eye, but the vets say he has essentially normal function in his eye.
Roy was selected to join some other KP cats in a wonderful home, and once he was well he made the move. Unfortunately the dynamics in the home didn't work out as Roy was quite the bully to the existing cats. We were all surprised since Roy doesn't exhibit that in his room at the shelter that he shares with multiple cats.
We do feel that if the cat dynamics are good, Roy would be quite happy to share a home with another cat... but as we have learned first hand, we can never be sure until the situation is tested out.
