Meet ROSALEE!
MEET ROSALEE!
This gorgeous girl with the perfect Marilyn Monroe spot is named Rosalee! Rosalee is somewhere around 8-10 years old and joined City of Elderly Love after being found as a sick stray and brought to Philly's animal control shelter. She was skinny, had GI troubles and soon caught a cold from the shelter environment. Luckily, she was able to hitch a ride to foster care where she has spent the past several months recovering from fending for herself on the streets.
Rosalee is just about as sweet as they come. She starts purring the second she sees you! She lives for pets and snuggles. Rosalee is currently living with other cats and a toddler in foster care and is comfortable interacting with both. Like any silly cat, she can't resist chasing a wand toy or string. When she isn't cuddling or playing, Rosalee can be found snoozing in one of her favorite nap spots. Now that she's back to feeling 100%, Rosalee is hoping to find the perfect family who will cherish her for the gem that she is!
Rosalee has been fully vetted since coming to the rescue. She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and takes 1/2 of a pill twice a day which she is easy about taking. She requires a prescription I/D kibble diet which helps keep her sensitive belly on track and controls the chronic diarrhea she was experiencing as a stray.
