Quick just melted the heart of all the volunteers. When he arrived he was so scared he hissed and spat at everyone who came near, but somehow you could tell there was a teddy bear underneath all that. Perhaps it was his cute little face with his squinty eyes that made many of our volunteers keep trying to get near him. Before long you heard that some of the volunteers were able to brush him when he felt safe around other kitties on the catio shelf and then he just blossomed. He closes his eyes when you pet him and looks so content now and seems to like when you tell him how handsome he is! Quick has opened his heart to us, but will still need a patient family to continue to gain his trust once he again gets moved out of his safe place. Once he knows he is loved, he will blossom!
