Meet Preston! This sweet, darling boy is affectionate, social, and loving. He LOVES attention, and, at only 1 1/2 years old, he's very playful and entertaining as well! Preston and his sister were found abandoned in a house; he was covered in burns, and, sadly, his sister didn't survive. He's had a long road back and is now healthy and happy, but scars remain, both physical and emotional. The experience left him with an understandable wariness of new humans, loud noises, and sudden movements.

Preston will be a bit shy at first but will settle in quickly, and if you're patient you'll get to enjoy an adorably social little love bug. Preston gets along great with other cats but would probably also be fine as an only cat in a household where he got lots of attention and love. He has lived happily with respectful older children.

Preston is currently on a special diet for allergies, so he will require an adopter who is committed to continuing to provide this food. We would also prefer that his adopter be someone who's previously owned cats.
