Bathsheba may have a grand name, but it suits her perfectly—because this little girl has a personality that’s anything but small! Dressed in a soft, multicolored coat and topped with the sweetest face, she’s truly a showstopper.<br/><br/>Born in Egypt, Bathsheba has already had quite a journey and is now safely in Northern Virginia, hoping to find the loving forever home she deserves.<br/><br/>Bathsheba is a people-loving kitten who just needs a little time to feel safe and settle in. She’s been through many changes in her short life, so her ideal adopter will be patient and understanding as she adjusts. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate nature shines—she loves gentle pets, cheek scratches, and will reward you with headbutts, soft purrs, and cozy snuggles by your side.<br/><br/>She has an active nature, an enthusiastic energy and is very curious. Once acclimated, she’s a door greeter and hates to be shut away from the action. She forms strong bonds with her people and thrives in a stable home where someone is around often. She especially enjoys interactive toys, cat trees, and windows to see what’s happening outside!<br/><br/>At approximately 8 months old, Bathsheba is fully vetted—spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and combo tested negative. With her Persian-like coat, she will require regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best. While it’s not her favorite activity just yet, she’s learning to tolerate it like a champ. She has excellent litter box habits.<br/><br/>Bathsheba would be happiest as the only feline where she can soak up all the attention, or in a home willing to do a very slow, thoughtful introduction to other pets.<br/><br/>She is currently fostered in Burke, VA, and we do not transport out of the area.<br/><br/>Bathsheba’s adoption fee is $375, which helps cover a portion of her veterinary care and travel expenses, and supports her dedicated Egyptian rescuers so they can continue their lifesaving work.
