Pets Ltd., Inc.
Our Mission
Pets Ltd. was established in June 2004 for the purpose of providing vetting (including spaying and neutering) services to companion animals in an effort to reduce pet overpopulation. Our mission is to end animal suffering through direct and compassionate action and to promote compassionate care. Our volunteers use their personal space to foster and care for adoptable animals while seeking a suitable family or home for these animals.
Adoption Policy
Vetting is first completed and, as appropriate, animals are made available for adoption. Any interested persons must initially complete the adoption application. Applications are reviewed, pet and personal references are verified, and housing permissions are checked (as needed). The next step is a personal interview to discuss any questions and/or concerns. A supervised pet visitation is then set up, and prospective adopters meet the animal face-to-face typically at their foster location. The next step, if the foster parent and prospective adopter want to move forward, is provide a list of necessary steps to be ready to receive the animal. At the time of pickup or foster placement into the new home, an adoption contract is signed. Animal is to be returned to Pets Ltd. should placement not work out at any time. Follow up visits may be deemed appropriate and Pets Ltd. maintains contact with a new family to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
