Meet Peanut Butter
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I'm Peanut Butter!
I have such a loud purr box and, when I'm around people I will meow for attention. I love to run and play and then snuggle. I can be a little bratty but it's just because I love spending time with humans! I'll keep "talking" to you until you rub me and play - who doesn't want to be loved!
I do have a lot of energy, so playtime is definitely a must. Dogs make me very nervous so I's prefer a home without any. I seem to do ok with older kids, too much energy can overwhelm me. With the proper introduction, I am ok with other kitties.
Foster Update: Peanut Butter was a little "growly" at the other kitties when he first came to my home. It took about 3 days before he accepted his roommates and he can be a little possessive if he's on my lap and another kitty wants to join. He is one of the most loyal, affectionate kitties ever and just loves to be with you every moment and purrs loudly to tell you how much he loves you. He is a little skittish at times with new things. For example, when I first opened the door to the screened in porch he had no interest, but eventually he followed me out there a few days in a row and shortly after enjoyed going out on his own.
To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application which is available here: www.shelteringhands.org/info/adoption.
For additional information, email our Adoptions Team at adoptions@shelteringhands.org. Once applications are approved the Adoptions Team will coordinate the best way for you to get your new furry family member and bring them home.
