Meet Opie
FOSTERED IN: Chicago, IL 60609
ESTIMATED DOB: 09/2019
COLOR/BREED: Tabby Shorthair
GENDER: Male
KIDS: Possible
DOGS: Yes
CATS: Yes
HISTORY:
Opie and another cat were found in an area frequently visited by strays and ferals. When the caretaker realized how nice these two boys were she looked to find indoor placement for them.
ABOUT:
Opie is very sweet and loves attention from people, he’s the kind of cat that doesn’t have a no-touch zone. He even enjoys belly rubs. Opie loves to be held and lets his foster mom hold him like a baby. If you are touching him and loving him, you can do whatever the heck you want! Opie has met visiting children once, but because he usually needs a day or two to warm up to new people he didn’t interact with them at all. We think Opie will do fine with gentle children who love to give pets. Because Opie can be a little timid in new situations we think a more predictable, calm home will be the best fit for him. Despite being a bit timid at times, Opie is also very curious and likes to explore his home and watch the world through the windows. Opie is a pretty chill guy who isn’t terribly active and mostly just loves to snuggle and take naps. Opie enjoys playing for a bit each day and he likes the laser pointer and anything with catnip. Opie gets along very well with the small dog in his foster home, and would likely do well with other cats.
