Meet Nellie

Nellie is a female tortoiseshell Manx mix, with the trademark cute little stub tail! She was born in May 2012, and is generally healthy except for needing daily inexpensive pills for her hyperthyroidism (which she takes easily in pill pockets). She still loves to play with toys at her age but is generally a quiet and independent lady.

Nellie likes to be in the same room as her people and get petted, but she is not a lap cat. She wants affection on her terms, and space when she isn’t in the mood - don’t we all?! Nellie does fine with other cats but we do not recommend a home with children since she isn’t afraid to give someone a little smack if they don’t respect her space.
