Morris Tabby & Domestic Short Hair Mix Portland, OR

Morris is a kind and mild-mannered senior gent who loves being close to his people. His dream is to find a homebody who spends a lot of time relaxing on the couch, so a warm lap is usually available.

At age 9, Morris is beyond all the crazy kitten nonsense. He does enjoy messing around with boxes and crinkly paper--cats never seem to totally outgrow that obsession--but otherwise he really just wants to hang out with his family and watch the world from his heated bed perch near the window. He's quite social and enjoys meeting new people, with proper introductions of course.

Morris has lived with other cats, and is mostly indifferent, unless they insist on invading his personal space, but we think he'd really love to have all the feline attention in his forever home.

He has no bad habits, but he does have a very loud and persistent meow that frankly can be annoying. He's not hungry or in pain, and nothing seems to make him stop, until he decides it's time. Morris needs a person who is very patient and can tolerate his vocalizing.

Morris has excellent litter box habits and is in good health. He has had a recent dental cleaning.

As with all ARCF cats, Morris has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines. He tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $80.
