Meet Moose
MOOSE… LOVERBOY… as long as you are a human!! Moose is a very sweet male cat, likes to be held and to sit in a lap occasionally, and seems to like every volunteer he meets. He’s very friendly, with just a small dash of timidness — he is so happy when he is let out of his cage, comes to us for some loving, roams around the room and enjoys some time on the windowsills, but then huddles up under the cages as if he doesn’t want to be in our way. Or perhaps it’s because he dreads going back in his cage, which he really hates. He did have a home briefly but it turns out he did not like the home’s two dogs one bit, even though they were accustomed to living with cats. And while he’s fine with the shelter’s lady cats, he does not like the two other male cats we have exposed him to — not a huge surprise considering they are all recently neutered males! He should make a fine companion for children of all ages.
Moose is estimated to be 5 years old, is neutered, box-trained, current on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and received de-wormers and flea treatments. Adoption fee is $50.
