Meet Mitzie
NAME: Mitzie
BREED: DSH
BIRTHDAY: 2005
ADOPTION FEE: $40
Lovely little Mitzie is one of three cats who came to us when their mom unexpectedly developed dementia. No one was willing to take on the responsibility of three senior cats, and honestly it was tough on us as well. But we knew these were good cats and we hoped we could find them a great home.
Like most cats who are surrendered to us, it took this trio (Mitzie's "brothers" are Max and Ziggy) a few months to decide they wanted to be friends. They are safe and warm in the foster room but their whole lives have been turned upside down, so of course they are all scared at first. Mitzie's brothers were the first to make friends, but eventually Mitzie decided she was willing to give her foster mom a shot. Now she enjoys head scratches and gentle back scratches whenever she'd like. We know it will be another hard transition into their forever homes, but we are still hoping that someone will give these sweet, loving cats a chance at a real life. So far we have had no luck, so please help us by spreading the word about their sad story. And of course, please consider making room for one, two, or three new family members!
