Meet Misty
Misty is a gorgeous Silver Classic Tabby.
She was found abandoned as a baby on the side of a road. She was named “Misty” because of her beautiful gray/blue color.
Misty is in a foster home with some other kittens who have become her family.
She is very sweet, playful, and energetic. She's not the best hunter of a feather toy, she sort of flails her arms in attempts to catch her prey, but she is very enthusiastic about it!
While she is not a big fan of being held tight, she will snuggle up on your lap and purr quietly. She does not like to be alone, so would not do well in a home where she is left for long hours unless she has a companion.
Misty does well with kids, but she does not like to be chased and will run, so she would not do well in a home with small children.
This kitten is current on its vaccinations, but is too young to be spayed/neutered, given their rabies vaccine, or microchipped. For local adopters, that is something we will take care of at our vet clinic. For out-of-town adopters, there is a $100 refundable deposit that will be returned once you show proof of spay/neuter.
She is tested and is Negative for FeLV and FIV.
To help cover some of our vet costs, our adoption fee is $75. Vet records are provided to adopters. If you are interested in adopting from the Humane Society of West Alabama, please fill out the adoption application at humanesocietyofwa.org (all adopters must be pre-approved).
