Meet Mellow
Mellow arrived at our shelter with an open wound on his neck. His owner said he did not have the money for vet care and wanted to surrender him to us. So we took him in and transported Mellow to the vet. He was found to have an abscess that had ruptured and also another wound on his leg. The vet cleaned and sutured them. He is back with us now, wearing a silly cone and wondering how all of this happened. Mellow is 12 yrs old. He is gentle and a bit on the shy side right now. Our hope is that he will find a home and not have to be here for long.
