UPDATE From Meadow’s foster mom:
“Meadow is doing sooo amazing! Doesn’t even want to go in her cage anymore - , which was her “safe place” since she had lived her life in a cage until the animal shelter impounded her from her prior owner,
My parents came over with their dog and she loves dogs. Was so curious and kept going up to her. She wasn’t afraid of my parents and just has the sweetest personality. I’ve been holding her on the couch and she’ll stay with me for at least 30 minutes.”

Gorgeous highlander lynx. (This is a relatively new breed that petfinder doesn’t have on the it drop down menu). Meadow is a bit shy, but a real sweetheart! Probably one of the easiest cats I’ve fostered. She tends to like to take long naps all day, but will enjoy playing with her in the evening. Will never turn down scratchesnunder her neck or top of her head. She will purr and knead her pillow with content. Meadow was not socialized throughout her life and spent most of her time in a dog crate. She has become so much more social in such a short time since fostering her! She is curious, smart and has never once clawed any furniture besides her scratching post. Although she’s not much of a lap cat, she has the potential to be one with more love and care. She really needs to trust you before she warms up.
