Meet Mateo and Peekaboo

At nearly 17 years old, Mateo and Peekaboo are looking for their forever home ?? These siblings were born in a blackberry bush in Seattle, and lived with their owner until last month, when she moved into an assisted living facility. Sadly, these two were left behind and are now looking for a special someone to take them in.

Because they are a bonded pair, they will need to find a home together. They would do best in a quiet indoor home without other animals. They both enjoy lap sits, long naps, snacks, and playing with toys.

Because they are elderly, they have age related issues. Mateo was recently seen by a vet and has early kidney disease, a heart murmur, and is borderline hyperthyroid. Peekaboo will go to the vet for labs soon, and likely will have similar issues. Their future caregiver must be willing and able to take on the expenses associated with caring for elderly animals.
