You can't help but surrender to the cuteness of this adorable 1-year-old neutered male! His name is Marlow, and he was brought to the shelter as a stray on 11/22/16. He has mint green eyes and a black medium length coat. Marlow was not feeling the best at first, and his coat was thin in spots, but with good quality food and a little tender loving care, Marlow is feeling much better and his coat has already begun to fill in. Please keep in mind that all longer haired felines do need to be brushed often to keep their coat from developing mats. Marlow is very playful and especially enjoys ball toys, although almost anything that he can easily make move across the floor will satisfy his need for play. He is talkative, somewhat independent, but also enjoys being with his favorite humans. He does NOT care for dogs, and will do best in a home without them. He is a lover-boy with an instant quiet purr of contentment as he melts in your arms enjoying chin rubs and being petted. If you stop too soon, he will let you know by leaning into you harder, or by pawing at your neck and nuzzling into you. As you know, black animals of all kinds are more difficult to place. This is due to the fact that black is just one of those colors that usually will not grab ones attention when glancing over all of the brighter colored cats.
