Meet Marlo
1/7/22 - Meet Marlo! Marlo is a loving, sweet and playful lap cat. He gets along well with cats and dogs (if the dogs are good with cats)! He'd be happiest in a home where he has companionship and a furry playmate and cuddle-buddy.
One of our volunteers found Marlo in the parking lot where she lives. His left front leg was injured and he was dragging his paw on the ground. The first veterinarian she took him to said there was less than a 50% chance he would be able to keep his leg. Lucky for Marlo, his foster mom is a Certified Animal Reiki Master and she gave him daily Reiki sessions and massage. She also found a veterinarian certified in acupuncture for animals and she took him for treatments. We're so happy Marlo now has full use of his leg!!
Marlo's veterinarian has placed him on a strict diet of Urinary formula food due to recurring UTIs and crystals. He needs a special pet parent that will strictly follow this diet requirement for him.
Marlo had a rough beginning, he's overcome the challenges and now he's in foster care ready and waiting for his loving Fur-Ever home!
