Meet Lily, Smudge and Moxie:
From Qatar To Connecticut
A commercial airline pilot based in New York, was walking through a marketplace in Doha, Qatar when she discovered 3 tiny kittens hiding behind some cardboard, and learned that their mother had been hit and killed by a car. Thus began her tireless quest to not only rescue them but to make sure they had the best lives possible in the United States. Terry visited Forgotten Felines and asked if we would be willing to take the kittens once she was able to get them out of Qatar. Of course, we said yes.
Terry found an airline to transport the kittens, and a flight angel was secured to take them as “accompanied baggage” on the flight to their new home.
After an extremely long flight from Doha International Airport in Qatar to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City, Terry picked up three very blessed kittens and drove them to Forgotten Felines, where they were enthusiastically welcomed to brand new lives and now settling into their new foster home.
These kittens are very playful, very sweet, cuddly and super active as they love to play with their toys and interact with their foster family. Sadly our three girl kittens from Qatar have not found an adopter willing to adopt all of them together. We know that it was a big ask, but we had to try as they have been through so much together and are very bonded. We are now taking applications or them as singles and if anyone is looking for a pair, we would suggest Moxie and Smudge. Estimated date of birth: 8/30/22.
