Meet LAENA
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU RESPOND.
It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
LAENA and her 3 siblings (RHAENYRA - LAENOR -ALICENT) were saved from the shelter. We were notified by the shelter about LAENA and her siblings that the kittens were sick and were gonna be euthanized. Now all the babies are in foster care.
Her fosters states:
"I love to be in your lap while you watch tv…I’m very playful and prefer to be around another kitten….my purr is loud but my love for wet food is louder!! I'm super loving and affectionate?"
LAENA is independent and spunky. She will allow you to pick her up and enjoys cuddles. She loves to play at full speed! Her and her brother LAENOR love to play full force!! LAENA is a typical Bombay. She loves to be with her humans.
She will definitely need a cat / kitten buddy at home. She gets along really well with her brother LAENOR. We can't emphasize how important it is for a young kitten to have a buddy to play with and grow up with. So why not adopt 2 already that get along very well??
LAENA is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / BOMBAY MIX. She is 5 months old. She is good with cats of all ages and non-reactive with dogs. She has also been around children.
LAENA is currently at a foster home in Temecula, California.
ADOPTION PROCESS:

2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

MARCH 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is at 5 pm - 8 pm. You can call the Petsmart location and find out what time an evening volunteer will be there. There is a sheet on the cattery door with VISITING HOURS.
The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue
in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue
in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue
The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
