Meet Kettle

Kettle was rescued from an overcrowded shelter by one of our partner organizations, DART. At just a year old, he has handily adapted to our cat room. We know that he was found as a TNR cat due to his clipped ear, but he acts nothing like a stray and is in fact among the most outgoing cats at the center.

When you enter the cat room, odds are that Kettle will be among the first of its denizens to greet you at the door. This sleek black kitty is extremely social and friendly, rubbing against legs and arching into any hands offering him pets. If you present Kettle with a ball track, he goes absolutely wild! He loves to sit in front of them and bat the balls around in their plastic confines. At one point staff even witnessed him get too excited and get his face stuck in one of the tracks! (He was unharmed, and even seemed to take the incident in stride.) This boy has it all; Kettle is playful, sweet, and full of personality!

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $85 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
