Meet Kellen
Kellen is a 13-year-old chill guy looking for his forever home.
Kellen is a cat that will blossom with the attention of adults in a quiet home setting. He asks for pets, will head-butt you all day long, then choose to lay in a window until he wants to ask for attention again. Laying anywhere, he finds a sunbeam. He will engage in play with laser pointers or a cat dancer for short periods (after all, he needs his rest)
Kellen is a calm and relaxed senior boy. Give him a window to lay in, a bed to sleep on, and an occasional play fest, and he is a happy guy!
Kellen lives in a home with three dogs and three cats. He stays in a bedroom with a baby gate up - giving him the option to explore the house. He chooses not to, most likely because of the high-energy dogs on the other side. He is happy to interact when his foster mom comes in (multiple times a day).
Ideally, Kellen would thrive in a home on the quiet side or at least one with older children. Older children would do fine again, just because he is a senior guy who prefers a quieter setting. He is fine with other pets, so long as they pay him little attention. For example, he would not do well in a home with a curious puppy. Somebody is looking for a quiet, excellent companion. At 13 years old, it is hard for him to start over, but if you are willing to give him a try, he will delight you!
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.
Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
