? Kansas is very mellow and easy going with a face that makes you melt. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, litter box trained and loves to play. He is not the type of cat to sit on your lap and snuggle or sleep in bed with you. He does like to sleep near his foster moms bed, in his cat bed. He is getting more affectionate all the time and does seek out affection (petting). He is used to other cats and a mellow dog. He will need a lot of time to warm up and when he is scared (new environments or pets) he needs his space. He doesn’t really like people forcing affection on him until he is used to them. He follows his foster mom around and lays on the desk while she is working. He likes to play and be near a window every chance he gets. He always greets his foster family at the door when they come home. Even though he always has access to his cat food we are still working on getting him to stay away from people food. He will need a forever home that is patient with him and will work with him. Kansas was one of many stray cats living in some woods near a campsite in Kansas.
