Meet Kamea

UPDATE 09/2018: Kamea has let us know that he would prefer having ALL his human's attention. So, he requests to be adopted into a "single cat" household.

As of 8/2018, Kamea is 7 years old, so he qualifies for our "Senior for Senior" adoption option. If you are 55 years or older, and you’d like to adopt Kamea, the adoption fee will be waived!
Kamea has the most lovable personality! It won't take any time before you're on the receiving end of hearty head buts. He's recently taken to trying to get the most attention from any new person that comes to visit. He's definitely ready for his new Forever Home. Here's what our volunteer, Renna, has to say about Kamea:
"I had the pleasure of meeting Kamea last week. He's so friendly and affectionate! He was the first cat to greet me in the enclosure, and he kept head butting my hands and face. Even curled up in my lap for some head scratches!"

Kamea's backstory: Seven-year-old Kamea is a rescue from Wahiawa from February 2018. His human mom passed away, and before she died, entrusted Kamea, along with eight other kitties, to be cared for by Joey's until they could find another loving home. Kamea was well loved (obvious by his affectionate nature) and is hoping to find a home and human who will care for him again.

All of Joey's Feline Friends' cats have been Spayed/Neutered, Microchipped, Dewormed, Treated for Fleas, had their Nails Trimmed and Ears Cleaned, and are Litter Box Trained.

The 1st FVRCP Vaccination is included in the adoption donation.

A Free Wellness Check at Mililani Mauka Veterinary Clinic or Feather and Fur Animal Hospital is offered as part of the adoption donation.

A Carrier is required to safely take your new family member home.

The adoption donation is $70 for one cat or $100 for two cats together (cash or check).
We also have a “Senior for Senior” option. If you are 55 years or older, and the kitty that you’d like to adopt is 7 years or older, the adoption fee will be waived.

Founded in 1997 by Tedra Villaroz, Joey's Feline Friends is a privately owned, non-profit, no-kill shelter dedicated to the care of homeless, abused & physically challenged animals. Joey's operates entirely on the generosity of fellow animal lovers. All money goes directly to the care of the animals; which includes food, supplies, shelter maintenance, health care & medical bills. Any and All monetary donations are greatly appreciated by the cats and kittens under our care AND are tax deductible.

Mahalo for looking into adopting a rescued feline.
