Josephine is a beautiful 7-year-old female black and white domestic short that is looking for a new home. It breaks our hearts that this poor girl has now lost her home twice. She originally came to NAWS when she was relinquished by her previous owner due to financial reasons. She was adopted in 2020 but is now back because her adopter was moved to an assisted living facility and could not bring her with. We would like to get her back into a loving home as soon as possible.

Josephine is a little nervous in her new surroundings at our busy rescue but will seek out attention. She is a quirky girl that knows what she wants and likes at this point in her life. She will let us know when she wants attention, otherwise she prefers to keep to herself. She loves to snuggle under her blankets and sit and watch the birds out the window. She would love to find a quiet home where she can be an independent companion and couch buddy. She would do best in a home with a patient owner that will give her time to trust again and allow her personality to show.

All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines.
