MEET JINXY!
Who’s the gal with the galaxy eyes? It’s Jinxy! This sweet 17-year-old Siamese mix came to City of Elderly Love after her human passed away.? Now that she's gotten caught up on vet care, she's ready to find the perfect home for her twilight years.
Jinxy has hyperthyroidism that is well controlled on topical medication and early-stage kidney disease, but she continues to live her best life. ?Her foster mom thinks she is starting to lose some hearing, but it hasn’t been an issue at all. She’s a very laid-back lady who enjoys chatting with her foster mom. Previously, she lived with cats and dogs and we were told that she wasn’t a? huge? fan of dogs. She’s not overly excited about the cats in her foster home, but very relaxed kitties who would respect her personal space would likely be fine. Jinxy can take a little bit to warm up to new people, but she’s an absolute doll once she realizes you’re a friend?!? This vintage lady gets inspired to play sometimes, and she especially enjoys a teaser wand. She would do best in a relaxed home where she can lounge and enjoy her cardboard scratcher and catnip. She hasn’t been around children while in foster care, but she likely would prefer a home with only adults to keep a calmer home environment. If you think that Jinxy would be the perfect fit for your low-key home, you won’t regret spoiling this beauty for the remainder of her golden years!
