Meet Henry

Henry was born on April 29th. Henry is a very social and loving kitty who would do best with a feline companion. He is playful and loves to be held and petted. Henry's coloring is also very unique: he is a bronze color with creamy swirls.
Henry was diagnosed with a heart murmur as a kitten. An echocardiogram was performed by a specialist. which did not show any underlying pathology or disease. They believe the murmur becomes more evident when he is stressed. It is very likely this murmur will never cause an issue for him. Henry
is just an all around great kitten who would make the perfect addition to any home with a feline friend.

All pets adopted from Helping Paws of Southern Minnesota will have age appropriate vaccinations, testing (Feleuk-FIV) and alterations included in their adoption fee! Fill out an application to adopt on our website at www.helpingpawsofsmn.org.
How to adopt:
1. First step is to fill out a Pre-Adoption Application by applying online @ www.helpingpawsofsmn.org.
2. Once your application is submitted, please allow us time to review and we will contact you as soon as possible with any questions regarding your application and status.
3. Once your application is approved we will set up an appointment for a meet and greet with interested available animal. Please bring all family members especially children. Virtual options are available!
4. After the meet and greet we will schedule and complete a virtual home visit.
5. Finalizing the adoption: This includes paying the adoption fee (+ tax) and sending home medical documents with the adopted animal.
We ask that you allow at least a month for your new pet to adjust and decompress to their new home. During this time we will provide one on one counseling to make sure the proper steps are taken to allow for a successful transition. If for whatever reason you need to return your newly adopted pet we will allow a 7 day grace period for full refund on the adoption fee once the animal is returned to our care. After the 7 day grace period adoption fees are non-refundable.

We take finding the best homes for our kitties very seriously as they deserve nothing but the best! Please allow a week for applications to be processed as we are all volunteers working as fast as we can.

If you have any questions on a specific animal don’t hesitate to send us an email @ helpingpawsofso.mn@yahoo.com. We can also help with finding a match for something specific you had in mind!
