Ginger (declawed front paws) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Ginger is a 4-year-old spayed female with pretty deep orange tabby and white markings, large yellow Puss In Boots eyes, declawed front paws, and a gentle disposition.

She was surrendered to the shelter because her previous owners' were moving and couldn't take her with. Ginger came from a large family of humans and is GREAT with children and other cats, but is afraid of dogs, and likes to take her time in getting to know strangers. After living in the same home her entire life being a shelter resident is quite overwhelming, but she finds comfort in snuggling with other cats in a bed or cubby. She is very affectionate and loves people, but is shy with strangers at first. Ginger is very friendly and likes to be brushed, petted, scratched and cuddled in your arms. Once she has had time to get used to you she likes to spend time on your lap and leans into you for more and more attention. Once she knows you even better, you will discover her playful side.

If you don't see her when you are visiting the shelter PLEASE ask a member of our staff or a volunteer to help you. Ginger needs a special person to fall in love with her and give her a new home so that her true personality can once again shine and she will no longer live in fear. She is a VERY NICE feline that will certainly be a cherished family member for the lucky family that adopts her. If you have a home with other cats and a few kids, but no dogs Ginger would certainly be the perfect match for you!!!
