Fiona, her mama, and siblings were strays in Hudson, Iowa. A kind couple took them in to save them from the streets. We took took the whole family in to help them. They are living in a foster home. Fiona is now up to date on shots, tested FeLV / FIV negative, and spayed.
Fiona - 6 months old, female
Fiona has beautiful Tabby markings, complete with dark, inky stripes. One of her favorite hobbies is to climb and she enjoys a good vantage point to check out her surroundings. She is well balanced between being both playful and affectionate. She is not shy about requesting your attention by head bunting and rubbing on you. When she’s not running around with a favorite toy in her mouth or exploring new heights, she will most likely be curled up somewhere close by. She would do best in a home with another cat or kitten with equal energy levels, she and her sibling Bowie are not required to be adopted together, but would make a great pair!
Kitty family: Bowie, Percy, Fiona, and Mama Cat Adele.
Fiona must be adopted into a home with another young cat for her to bond with and play with. Or she can be adopted with one or both of her siblings and/or mother. She cannot be an only cat. She must have a cat friend.
Fiona's adoption fee is $95.00.

All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $250 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
