If you have the luck of the Irish, you will be fortunate enough to make Finnegan’s acquaintance! They don’t come friendlier than our man Finnegan, who shows us each and everyday how grateful he is to be warm, well fed and doted on. He is a big, even-tempered, huggable guy who would think there’s nothing better than a night curled up with you in front of the TV. Pick him up and hold him and you’ll be graced with a big purr. This handsome tabby with cute white toes is also starting to show us more a playful side.

Finnegan was found wandering the streets of Kentucky, miserable and infested with ticks. A small shelter in Somerset, Kentucky, reached out to STAF when he tested positive for FIV, the feline immunodeficiency virus. This condition is non-transferrable to people and simply means he has a more fragile immune system than many cats that test negative. FIV is not life threatening, and the awesome Finnegan has many years of joy ahead of him with regular vet care. This healthy young dude, with his wonderful laid-back demeanor, is wishing on a four-leaf clover for his forever-and-ever home today!

All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati. We will ask you to return to the shelter for a second visit to be sure of your decision.
