Hi friends. I’m Emily. I’m a short-haired Tuxedo girl and I’m about two years old. I came to SOHF from an overcrowded shelter with my five newborn kittens in tow. All of my kids found their forever families but here I am almost nine months later still waiting for someone to pick me. I am a good girl and I love attention from humans. I will follow you around the house and I enjoy being petted. Sometimes I will let you pick me up and cuddle me. If you are looking for an easygoing companion who doesn’t demand much in the way of your time or attention, I am your girl. I am perfectly content to do my own thing and be petted just a couple times a day as long as you keep my food bowl full and my litterbox clean. I love baby kittens but I don’t care for other adult cats. I do not like dogs at all and don’t want to live in a home with them, thankyouverymuch.

I have been waiting for a home for almost a year now. All of my friends have been adopted and I’m all alone at the Adoption Center. Nobody has ever applied to adopt me but I know my person is out there somewhere. It sure would be nice to finally get a home of my own.
