Chispa Tabby Manhattan, KS

Hola amigos!!! My name is Chispa!! Chispa means "Spark" in Spanish! I was named after a dog that I didn't get the chance to meet, you see the day my foster mom got me was the same day she lost her beloved childhood dog.

My foster mommy was very sad when I came into her home, she would cry a lot, so I knew I had big paws to fill!! I made my foster mom play with me and I made sure to always keep her smiling!

I am a very energetic kitten and do well with dogs & cats when slowly introduced. I love all types of toys, but my favorite are shoe strings, bag ties, and scrunchies. I would do better in a home with other cats where I can have a play friend! Though I have never been around children, I think I will do well since I need a lot of playtimes. Keep in mind, I have these things called teeth? and claws? I am still trying to learn how to use and working on my gentle touch, my foster brother Rex is showing me how to do that.

Foster Update #1: She loves to be on you, purring, being petted, laying on shoulders, just loving and being loved. Earlier today, I opened my dresser drawer, and there was little Chispa, curled up on my t-shirts, sleeping away. Apparently the bottom drawer was open about 4 inches, and he slithered in and found a wonderful place to take a nap! She is just a cool cat. Follows you around, waiting for the opportunity to sit on your lap!
