Chairman- Update
Ooltewah, TN - please read the home requirements for Chairman and apply only if your home meets these. Most important is that he needs a home that has an outside enclosure or a secure fenced yard that has rollers or other type of system at the top of the fence to keep him from climbing. A GPS system is also a must. He is neutered.
2 year old male Bengal, big at 12 lbs., beautifully marked, very sweet and intelligent boy and highly athletic. Lives to play and chase, thinks he's a jungle cat in a tiny body. In the past he has been walked with a harness and now wants to go outside and will try to run out. Chairman trolls the house all day wailing at the top of his lungs. He appears to be crying to go outside. He is constantly on the ready just waiting for an opportunity to escape. He is happiest when he is outside. So he needs a home that has an outside enclosure or secure yard. His litterbox habits are good with the exception of containers that are shaped like litter boxes, like clothes baskets and even gym bags. There was another cat in the house that he struggled to get along with so not sure how he would do with another cat. With access to outside, he may be ok with another cat. He has never been around dogs so not sure how he would do. He has been around children - a 6 and 9 yr. old. He is fine with the 9 yr old but not so much the 6 yr old who is too rough for Chairman. So he would be fine with children who are respectful and handle him on his terms. He does not like to be picked up, carried around or chased. He is a more aloof cat - not a snuggler.
