Boots and Purrcy (bonded pair) Tuxedo Mix Minneapolis, MN

Boots and Purrcy are darling, bonded one-year old boys, presumed to be brothers. Both gentle and loving, Boots is usually the first to greet people at the door, sniffing their shoes and getting pets. Purrcy is always curious about new people too, and will come out to say hi but warms up a little more slowly.

This duo is very fun and playful. They chase each other, wrestle, play hide and pounce and play with lots of other toys. They enjoy critter-watching and bug chasing. They will need a home that has plenty of toys and interactivity to keep them happy.

When these kitties want something, they will “talk” and have adorable mews. These boys very much appreciate a yummy meal or treat and Boots gives kisses before he is served. It’s adorable! Both are excellent cuddlers once they feel safe with their people. Purrcy is the marathon cuddler and will happily cuddle for hours at a time. They are people-oriented and will need a home where they can give and receive a lots of love. They shine in calm, quiet environments.

Boots and Purrcy were found in a colony when they were kittens. Both picked up parasites, which Purrcy was able to heal from. Boots is still on prescription food and probiotics to help get his GI tract back in order. Because of this issue they should be in a home without other cats. They are otherwise healthy and have shiny coats and lots of energy. They use their litter boxes perfectly.

Adopters will need to kitty-proof for these boys as it’s hard for them to tell what’s a “toy” and what isn’t. Garbages will need to be secured as well as cat food. They will also need to be on a regular feeding schedule as Purrcy will overeat when given the opportunity.

Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
