Blueberry 's Story

Meet Blueberry
Blueberry is what happens when genetics say "eh...let's just wing it.". Half Munchkin, half... Something else (we're calling it Lykoi-chic). The result? Short legs, big personality, and unfortunately... A body that chose violence against itself.
When Blueberry first came to us, her allergies were so severe that she was literally scratching herself open. We're talking infections, constant discomfort and a very fashionable (but unwanted) cone + kitty caps combo just to keep her from hurting herself. But listen if she's going to wear an accessory. She's going to commit. Blueberry is always manicured. Kitty clips on, nails done, living her best tiny life.
Fast forward through meds, vet visits and a whole lot of TLC. She's doing so much better but she's not quite out of the woods yet. And because Blueberry believes in doing the absolute most... She also developed painful masses in her mouth likely from chronic inflammation (hello stomatitis) and had to undergo full mouth extractions plus mass removal. That's right. One-year-old. 4 lbs. No teeth. Nails perfect.
Since coming into our care, Blueberry has also been spayed, vaccinated, treated for ongoing allergies, and given approximately 47 pep talks about making better life choices.
This tiny girl has come such a long way, and we’re so excited to finally start searching for the perfect forever home for her. While Blueberry has improved tremendously, her allergies are considered a lifelong condition that will require ongoing monitoring and treatment — so we’re looking for adopters who are truly ready to commit to her special care needs.
Think you might be Blueberry’s perfect match?
