Meet Bear

Bear is a 3-year-old rambunctious boy looking for his forever home!

Bear is the life of the party and will make sure he’s the first one to introduce himself to every new guest. His favorite party trick is showing folks how high he can jump to catch the feather wand. If you’re looking to make a good impression with Bear, some treats and head scratches go a long way.

Bear always wants to be doing something, whether that’s chirping with the birds, running laps, or seeking attention from his humans. He rarely sits still. He enjoys dedicated playtime with his feather wand as well as hidden treat toys to keep his brain sharp. He might even be willing to go for a walk!

Bear likes his routine. He starts his day with some morning cuddles, which are closely followed by some more morning laps or batting around a foam ball. After breakfast, he moves from room to room looking for the highest spot to get the best view of his critter friends. He spends the afternoon napping away, waking up just in time for dinner. After dinner, he’s excited for his humans to be done doing whatever they do during the day, so he can get all their attention. More playtime and cuddles!

Bear is full of personality, very curious, and not shy. He’s the master of his universe and knows his boundaries. If he hasn’t had enough stimulation or has had too much, he’ll let you know, so someone who has experience reading cat behavior is recommended. He’s looking for an active household that will entertain his daily playtime needs. He’s currently on Gabapentin to let him relax and live his best, most comfortable life.

Bear would do well in a home with cat-savvy older children and/or a well-socialized younger playful cat. With proper slow introductions, Bear would enjoy another cat companion to play hide and seek and run laps with!

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.
