Baby Stripey is a sweet, southern boy looking for his forever home in the PNW! He was transferred to APS-FH from Florida in a large-scale relief effort prior to Hurricane Ian and although he’s making himself comfortable at our shelter, what he really wants is a home to call his own.

Baby Stripey can be a bit of a shy boy at first, but if you’re willing to be a little patient, you’ll find what an incredibly endearing cat he is! Although he may be introverted in some ways, when Baby Stripey knows he can trust you, he is quick to show you what a lover he can be. In addition to being a favorite of the APS-FH Team, Baby Stripey has had some of his favorite Shelter Volunteers from Florida reach out to check on him; that’s how special of a guy he is! Aside from the humans that Baby Stripey has already completely won over, all of his interactions with his cat roommates have also proven to be respectful, kind, and even loving at times too. We think Baby Stripey would do really well in a lot of homes, but especially with a person(s) with a more calm, quiet household where he can feel comfortable and safe to come out of his shell, shower his person(s) with love, and become a part of the family.
