ARTHUR Domestic Short Hair Mix Lincoln, NE

Arthur is a handsome, grateful 2 year old male who was rescued from a shelter in Texas where he was on death row. He is very unique in the fact that he has an all white body and a solid black tail. He came to Dolly's with an abscess on his front left leg. This has healed but he is still working on regaining full strength. He is a very affectionate cat who loves to get chin scratches and sometimes even enjoys being held like a baby. He is learning to be a cat again and has recently started playing with the toys at his foster home. He loves everyone he meets and is slowly being introduced to the resident cats at his foster home. So far things are going well. He has not been introduced to the dogs yet, but with his laid back demeanor, he would likely get along with them as well (given the proper introduction). Arthur has perfect litter box manners and enjoy chowing down on treats and dinner. Arthur will make a great companion for any household. He is forever grateful to Dolly's for rescuing him and giving him a chance at finding his forever home.

Arthur is a Russian White/Domestic Shorthair cat estimated at 2 yrs old, He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Adoption fee is $100 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
