Meet Moe
Fostered in Leominster, MA.
“Moe is fully ready to be adopted, he has flourished so much since his arrival!
You would never know he was a scared and under socialized rattie! My daughter has done very well with his socialization and he is fully socialized, handable, and LOVES to have attention and be held! He loves to cuddle and give kisses as well as be kissed. He has developed such a great bond with my daughter as she has been his main human for socialization work.
He is full of energy and has such a spunky playful, dominant personality. Full warning be ready to catch him at times when you open the door to his cage, especially if you have lacked on his attention previously, he will make up for it and expect you to as well. He LOVES food, he is working on his food/hand manners and needs to be consistently reminded to “be gentle”, “easy” prior to giving him the food by hand, and this has to be done with caution especially with certain foods (he gets overly excited and ahead of himself, cant blame him, food is good, haha).
He would do very well with a first timer, or a home with children who have experience with handling rats, he is a large energetic boy! Once he trusts you and knows your safe he is your best friend!
Pairing him with other rats may prove to be a little difficult but I do feel with the right personality match, such as a female who is submissive would do ok. He does not do well with males (or at least any I had tried previously) and is not doing well with the female I had intended for him as she is equally dominant.”
