Meet Matilda
Matilda is a standard grey female chinchilla that is 8 months old. She was dumped at her pet sitter’s house and never returned for after months. She needs work with handling, but once she feels safe, will come and take treats and get chin scratches. She loves dust baths and peppermint Oxbow treats! Matilda really needs an experienced chin owner. Female chins will spray when annoyed, scared, or angry, and that’s definitely true with her. We are still working on getting Matilda the proper items she needs, as most of what she had was not made for chinchillas. She’s been through a lot already, and we want to ensure her next home is dedicated to proper care. She would prefer a quieter home with a room for her to get out and explore.
