Meet Kilo
Kilo is a very handsome 7 year young chinchilla who recently joined us because his family was moving and couldn't take him with them.
Kilo is quite outgoing, ever-curious and loves to bounce! He is OK with being pet, but isn't so sure about being picked up and snuggled. He would much prefer to have his feet on the floor and enjoy those chin scratches without being restrained!
Kilo is a great middle-aged guy who has been there and done that. He would make a great first-time chin for the right family.
Chinchillas require large vertical cages with lots of shelves and levels for them to bounce between. They have restrictive specialized diets and need lots of toys and activities to keep their minds active! They enjoy toys they can nibble and time outside the cage to BOUNCE! :)
