Meet Gerbil babies ~May 18~
Oops litter alert!
Six baby boys born 3/23 to one of our rescues who we believed was a male! She had 7 pups total, but the one female will stay with her for companionship. We would like the 6 boy pups to be adopted in trios but would consider pairs if we found the right fit. Colors/patterns are: 2 black; 2 agouti/brown; 1 honey; and 1 nutmeg. Available 5/18. Adoption fee is a donation of your choice.
We follow the habitat guidelines from BCSPCA which currently recommends a minimum cage size of 10 gallon per gerbil, plus topper. The bigger, the better.
Additionally, we require a wheel that is at least 8 inches, as gerbils' backs must be straight when running. Each gerbil should have its own wheel.
Please be prepared to provide photos of your habitat and habitat accessories.
Given that anesthesia is risky for small mammals, these boys will be left intact. However, breeding is absolutely not permitted and you will be required to enter into a no-breeding agreement.
