Meet Cracker
Cracker is a super sweet female guinea pig. This girl enjoys attention and will come up for some tasty greens.
We recommend that guinea pigs be kept in a baby-gated area with easily cleanable flooring like vinyl tile, and preferably on fleece. This will give them room to roam around, and fleece is easy on their feet and easy to wash for clean up. Search "indoor baby-gated guinea pig enclosures" online for ideas on your setup. Including a hay rack, water bottle, litter box, fleece, and chew toys will make a happy space!
If you're interested in adopting, please email a photo of where you intend to keep the guinea pig to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org There is a $25 adoption fee, which includes the pig's nail trim, and exam.
