Meet Corrin

Corrin is a female syrian hamster who's come out of a horrible situation. There was 56 hamsters dropped off at a reptile rescue by the owners friend. Out of those hamsters, we agreed to take in 50. They came from a situation that got out of hand with 4 escaped hamsters breeding throughout the owners home, totaling around 200. Out of all the ones we've received, only a handful had minor injuries.

Because of all the chaos, we can only guess based off of body size/coat condition and developmental features, Corrin is estimated to be 3 months old. She was still small enough to be with her siblings at the time. But now she's in her own enclosure, doing her own thing.

Corrin is a gentle girl, she's still getting used to being interacted with but is able to be held (but squirms, so not fully hand tame yet) & is enjoying slow interactions where we put her in our laps, and have her getting used to us giving her treats by hand. Corrin loves her den. She piles her bedding ceiling high inside of her favorite hide. Sometimes when we call her, she comes out, but that's not always the case.

Corrin will be good in a home with teens, no kids please since she is too nervous for child homes. Beginner or experienced homes are fine!

Adoption fee is $20.

Please inquire under the ad to start the adoption process. We respond to emails Mon-Friday and are operating with very few volunteers at this time, so our response times will vary. Please be patient while we review your application.
