Chanel Hamster Hamster Eagle Mountain, UT

Chanel is a little bit of a crazy girl. She has always loved to move, move, move! She's kind of a hermit, and doesn't love to be handled, but she is so much fun to watch run around and explore her enclosure. We suspect that Chanel is at least partially blind, but it doesn't stop her from getting around and sniffing out the best places to have a snack and take a good nap. Chanel's age is showing a little bit as she isn't showing much interest in her wheel anymore, so she prefers enrichment where she can sniff and dig. She also loves her sand bath!

Chanel is a sweet girl but can get nippy, as she startles easier with her lack of sight. She will allow you to handle her but would do better in a home that is okay with watching her and coming up with fun ways to enrich her other than physical contact. Hamsters living requirements also include a 50 gallon minimum tank or bin. If you do not have an appropriate enclosure, we can provide one at cost.
